2024 Wedding Trend Predictions: Receiving over 19 million TikTok hashtag views, purple is an emerging colour trend for the year ahead, particularly as we move into Spring 2024 with vibrant, violent tones as opposed to more traditional, soft lilac options. We expect to see the adoption of more rainbow (9 million views) elements as couples look to inject a playful and adventurous element into their big day. Following the announcement of Pantone's colour of the year, we may see peach (1 million views) themes join orange as the most popular accent colour of the new year. Y2K trends made a huge fashion comeback in 2023, from low-rise jeans to trucker hats, and the same goes for weddings, with brides drawing inspiration from bygone eras to infuse nostalgia into their weddings. Whilst the 90s bridal aesthetic will continue to grow in popularity in 2023, we expect to see more 70s and 80s inspiration with more retro glamour and bohemian chic wedding and wedding guest style. In 2024, we expect wedding accessories to take centre stage. Although finding the perfect wedding dress or outfit is a big part of the nuptials, with accents like wedding gloves, wedding bows and wedding sunglasses receiving a combined 19 million views, accessories are likely to play as big a part in deciding the perfect wedding outfit as the dress in 2024.

Toi-et-moi rings have risen in popularity towards the end of 2023, and we expect it will be one of the biggest engagement ring styles of 2024. Toi-et-moi translates to "you and me" and is one of the most historic ring-setting styles featuring two gemstones positioned side by side to symbolise the meeting of two lovers. Predicting ceremony elements, one big trend we expect to surge in 2024 is more dry and sober weddings, with a combined 8 million views representing the shift in drinking culture. Couples are also redefining traditional ceremony elements, opting for welcome parties to set the tone for the big day and many opting to scrap classic aspects of the day like the cutting of the cake and the bouquet flower toss. We also expect to see a rise in registry weddings (2.5 million views) in line with the 2023 trend of smaller micro weddings.
