Based just 5 minutes from J36 of the M6 Wreay Syke Alpacas are in Gatebeck, a quiet village near Kendal, the gateway to the Lakes and well placed for wedding venues in both Cumbria and Lancashire.

The Alternative Wedding Guests

Let our alpacas help you celebrate in style!

We will come and entertain you and your guests with up to 4 of our wedding boys each dressed to impress in smart dickie bow ties! Their alpaca enclosure will be decorated in cream vines and organza drapes or we can co-ordinate with your wedding colour scheme.

Spend time getting to know them, feed them treats and find out all about our amazing alpacas. The bride and groom can even take them for a walk amongst their guests.

Alpaca Gifts

We are proud to say all the products I sell are made from our own alpaca's fleece and carry the British Alpaca Society Fibre Marque which may be used on any products created from our raw fibre.

Everything I sell I also make myself as I hand spin aswell as felt so I am able to make some unique handmade alpaca gifts to either give as bridesmaids/family gifts or to put on your wedding present list.

Some small gifts include pom pom keyrings, felted hearts, felted soap and little wooden alpacas with prices ranging from £5 to £15.

Some other ideas include cushion covers, beanie hats, hand warmers, hair scrunchies, headbands and scarves with prices ranging from £8 to £65.

Hen & Stag Do Ideas

Why not enjoy one of our alpaca experiences as part of your Hen or Stag weekend celebrations. We offer Alpaca trekking, Meet & Greet or A Little of Everything where you can enjoy a taster session of our activities.

Alpaca trekking is for smaller groups of up to 12 people as we can take up to 6 alpacas on a walk. Our other activities are held at our alpacas home so we can accommodate up to 20 people. You can meet our whole herd of currently 25 alpacas if you come to their home.

Prices start at £12 each for our Meet & Greet and our trekking is from £30 each. Take a look at our website for more information on all our activities.
