Lucy and Chris had a beautiful celebration at Wyresdale Park

Lucy and Chris met in a bar in Manchester. “Chris was out with his friends celebrating his 30th birthday, and I was with my friend,” says Lucy. “His friend approached me and asked if they could come and sit with us. Chris and I hit it off straight away and realised we had the same sense of humour and love of films.”

Chris proposed at home. “He wanted to catch me off guard, so he asked the question on a Saturday night during a three-course meal he had cooked for me,” shares the bride. “I was very surprised and obviously overjoyed! Afterwards, we got dolled up and went out to our favourite pub for a bottle of champagne to celebrate.”
