Hayley and Scott said ‘I do’ surrounded by their friends and family

Two decades after first meeting, Hayley and Scott made their way back to each other. “We met more than 20 years ago through friends,” says Hayley. “We felt instantly attracted to one another, but the timing was not right back then. We found each other again in June 2020 through social media and instantly became inseparable. We knew that we were meant to be together.”

Scott proposed four months after reuniting. “I knew it was coming as I’d caught him looking at engagement rings, however the actual night was a surprise,” shares the bride. “We went out for a meal in the Lake District, looking back now he seemed a little nervous but excited at the same time. We stopped off at Lake Windermere on the way home as Scott said it would be nice for us to go for a walk; that’s where he got down on one knee with the most beautiful engagement ring and asked if I would marry him.”
