David Allbutt Photography tells us why being a photographer and celebrant is a successful combination and one you should not miss out on.

"Photography is my passion in life," says David. "It's my full-time work, and I never stop learning or trying new techniques. So what does a qualified celebrant bring to your wedding day photography experience? I worked in the education sector and publicly spoke for many years. I decided to set up my photography business because of my love of working with people and families. I thrived on the excitement of busy events and the challenge of capturing those key moments. The celebrant decision came quite easily to me, and I gained my Celebrant and Public Speaking Diploma (SQA)."

As a photographer and celebrant, you have in David a professional who understands how to convey the sentiment of your day through the images he captures.

“I want to tell your story and capture its meaning,” adds David. "When I photograph your wedding, I want you to look back at the images and for it to tell your story, parts you know happened and others you did not even see. I want my couples to know I always quote for a wedding on an individual basis as no two weddings are the same. I can travel across the North West of England, the Midlands and Wales."

Wedding insurance is one of those things couples often hear about, but don't always fully understand or think they need. It's also hardly the most exciting part of planning a wedding – but when you consider how much is being spent, it can be one of the most important items on the to-do list. Mark explains, "At its core, wedding insurance is designed to protect you financially if something unexpected happens that's outside your control. This might include a key supplier going out of business, a venue becoming unavailable, or serious illness or injury affecting the couple or close family, leading to the wedding being cancelled or rearranged.
