4R Luxury Events, a wedding planner in Manchester, has launched a new service called Power Planning. This is ideal for couples who are planning their big day but could use the help of a professional to guide them through the steps of getting things done efficiently and effectively. There are two packages available: the 90-minute option includes a zoom call, a step-by-step guide to help complete tasks more efficiently, an extensive list of recommended suppliers and venues to choose from, a budget template, tips for the day and a detailed summary PDF.

Alternatively, the four-hour option, spread over a month, includes the above plus four zoom meetings, unlimited emails and phone correspondence throughout the process, a how to word stationery guide, a must-have pre-wedding photos list and help to source a venue.

The owner, Roline Cyriaque tells us: “At the end of the session, you will have clarity on how you are going to achieve all of your wedding tasks and in return feel less overwhelmed. Learn how to communicate with your venue and suppliers effectively with our important questions to ask your suppliers and our top tip for getting a quicker response. Free up time by tackling the most demanding tasks such as booking your venue, caterers, entertainment, and photographers. Feel relaxed, happy, and confident with the progress of successfully planning your wedding from start to finish.”

Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.
