The Daffodil Hotel & Spa, located on the shore of Grasmere Lake in the heart of the Lake District, is running a Win a Wedding competition.
The four-star hotel, which is part of the award-winning Crerar Hotels Group, has relaunched its wedding offering and is giving couples the opportunity to get married on the stunning shores of Grasmere – with one couple set to win the wedding they’ve always dreamed of, valued at £8,300.
Couples who are willing to share their love stories and the reasons why they deserve to win can apply themselves or can be nominated by family and friends, with nominations set to close on Tuesday 31 March.
One lucky couple will then be chosen by a judging panel and notified by the hotel that they have won – the hotel’s events team will work closely with the winning couple to plan their special day. The couple can opt for a 2026 or 2027 wedding* with up to 65 guests, with the option to add more guests on at an additional cost.
The prize also includes a glass of prosecco for each guest to toast the happy couple and then another during the drink’s reception, a three-course wedding meal, half a bottle of wine per person served with dinner, as well as evening snacks. On top of this, the bride and groom can enjoy staying in a senior suite on the night of their wedding with 12 additional rooms available for their guests to book at a reduced rate.
Furthermore, the hotel has also partnered with Deborah Maria Wedding Styling, and as part of the package, the couple will also win £300 worth of décor hire to help dress the room of their choice, in a way that suits them and their big day.
