We interviewed Rebecca Keen, the owner of Photohoof, to find out more about her company.

Q – Tell us about your company.
Photohoof is a unique, mobile horse box photo booth. We provide our clients with a one-of-a-kind experience that is a talking point for all events, as well as high-quality photo strips to remember their special day. I took over Photohoof earlier this year, having fully renovated the photo booth, I'm over the moon with the final look after seeing my vision come to life over the past six months.

Q – What packages/services do you offer couples?
Photohoof offers several pre-designed packages, but we can tailor any package to suit your event. We pride ourselves in offering a personalised service for all of our clients, therefore if you require additional services such as an extra hour of use, don’t hesitate to contact us. All of our packages include unlimited use of Photohoof for three hours, along with customised prints, a guest book and guest signing and much more.

Q – What should couples expect when booking your services?
Couples can expect a professional personalised service. I will work closely with couples to ensure Photohoof brings their vision to life. Some unique customisation options include; a choice of backdrop, personalised flowers to match your colour scheme and unique props created especially for your event. I will work with the couple to create a sample personalised photo strip, which will be shared with the couple and edited until they are 100 per cent satisfied.

Q – What's your favourite wedding you've worked on and why?
The first wedding I worked on will always be special to me, seeing everyone’s reaction after my horsebox had been renovated is a memory that I will never forget. However, I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite, as every wedding is unique and it’s a privilege to be part of a couple's day.

Q – How long before the wedding should couples get in touch?
Get in touch as soon as you book your wedding venue, in order to avoid disappointment. Photohoof is in very high demand, and our diary is filling up fast.

Q – What's your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of being the owner of Photohoof is having the pleasure of watching the joy that Photohoof brings to every event that we attend. I love the messages from the party saying how much they appreciated having Photohoof as part of their event and being able to look through the guest book, which contains a copy of each photo strip and a special message from each of their guests. I feel proud knowing that we are capturing memories to last a lifetime.

Q – Do you have any top tips for couples looking for a photo booth?
As the owner of Photohoof, I'm a photographer myself. Therefore, I take great pride in providing the highest quality photo booth. Photohoof includes all of the latest technology and photo booth equipment, including a professional DSLR camera to capture all the photographs. Therefore, my top tip would be to ensure that the photo booth that you hire has high-quality equipment. This ensures that you can download digital copies of the photographs after your wedding. If you hire Photohoof, you not only get a password protected page where all digital photo strips and original photographs can be downloaded but you will also be sent GIF’s (small videos) made from your Photohoof experience.

To celebrate its upcoming 10th anniversary, King Street Townhouse has announced plans to refurbish two of its event spaces and 10 guest rooms, with completion scheduled for April 2026. Inspired by the Italian Renaissance architecture of the original Edward Salomons design, the renovation introduces a contemporary perspective while preserving the hotel's distinctive character and charm.

The South Terrace and Lounge will feature a new bar with mirrored detailing to enhance natural light, alongside flexible room dividers and an adjoining rooftop space offering panoramic views of Manchester's skyline. The Mezzanine Lounge will be transformed into an intimate, elegant hideaway, with a refined palette of navy, brass, and soft neutrals, complemented by bespoke seating and a dedicated bar.

Expert says prenups aren't just for the rich and famous

Expert says prenups aren't just for the rich and famous

Legal experts at Richard Nelson LLP are urging Brits to rethink who prenups are really for. While often seen as something reserved for high-profile couples, data suggests they remain largely overlooked in everyday relationships. Just 7 percent of divorced Brits had a prenuptial agreement in place before separating, highlighting a significant gap between perception and reality. Regionally, attitudes vary. Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.

Pre-wedding nerves, relationship advice and the secrets to a long, happy marriage

Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting seasons in a couple's life. It is also one of the most emotionally revealing. As someone who has coached over 1,300 women into healthy, committed relationships and marriages through my Love Success Framework, I can tell you this: the way you handle wedding planning is often a preview of how you will handle marriage. Not because of the flowers. Not because of the guest list. But because of how you navigate stress, expectations, decision-making, and emotional needs together. A wedding is an event. A marriage is an energetic ecosystem.
