Six Stories Bridal are doing all they can to help the thousands of brides devastated and displaced by cancelled and postponed weddings

Wedding brand, Six Stories Bridal, are doing all they can to help the thousands of brides devastated and displaced by cancelled & postponed weddings. 

The independent brand has offered to help any bride affected by sending them a free bridey tee, (normally £29), to remind them that no matter what the situation, they are still a bride. 

The brand asks that any bride who has had her wedding affected by the coronavirus to get in touch and they will happily send her a complimentary tee of her choice. Brides can contact them via direct message on their social media channels @sixstoriesbridal and will only have to cover the cost of shipping.

The idea was formed as Lucy, the creator of the brand was inundated with brides having to cancel or postpone their wedding celebrations amidst the outbreak of COVID-19. With many couples sitting at home devastated by the effects of coronavirus, the small team at Six Stories Bridal has been working to support customers, whose carefully thought out plans are now challenged by a period of uncertainty.  
 
In addition to this, any existing customers who have purchased made-to-order tutus for flower girls and bridesmaids are being allowed to exchange their tutus should they not fit the children for the rescheduled weddings. 

Lucy Menghini, owner of Six Stories Bridal, said: “When you get engaged you have to wait so long before you can dress like a bride, and that’s why we created our range of ‘Bridey’ t-shirts and hoodies. With the coronavirus affecting so many wedding plans, to so many brides it might feel like there is nothing to look forward to as we go further into the unknown. 

"We’re heartbroken to see so many people devastated by the affects of wedding cancellations, and we want to make sure that all of these women remember they are still a bride and that is something to be celebrated” 

Ross Mengini, her partner and co-owner, added: “This is usually such a busy time of year for us and we have suddenly found ourselves with orders cancelled and postponed, and so we decided to take this time to do what we could for those who have had their celebrations affected by the outbreak of coronavirus.

"We know some people will have to wait a long time before they can reschedule their celebration, and there are so many wedding plans still in the balance. We just wanted to spread a little cheer”
