A family home for over 800 years, for couples looking for a spectacularly located wedding designed 100% around you, Leighton Hall is your fairy tale choice.

Theres a choice of four locations for your ceremony. Perfect for every season, discover our historic Music Room and restored Victorian conservatory, overlooking glorious gardens. Outside, our beautiful herb garden pavilion, sweeping lawns or ultra-romantic tipi will take your breath away. For larger weddings a marquee attached to the house can accommodate up to 150 guests or choose the drawing room for parties of 15 or more.

From intimate and budget-friendly micro wedding to extended celebration, we can comfortably accommodate 15 to 80 ceremony and wedding breakfast guests, with facility for a full-on evening extravaganza up to 110 in the Hall!

Nestled against a backdrop of the Lakeland fells outside and our spectacular "flying staircase" inside, provide the perfect place for dramatic entrances, stunning photographs and lasting memories.

With over 30 years' wedding experience, our secret is our friendly, warm team, dedicated to crafting the day you want, sprinkled with a touch of Leighton magic. Flexibility and personal attention are our watchwords, including bringing our experience to assist with menus, flowers, music, transport, photographs and liaising with providers.
