This year is flying by, and if you’re counting down the days until your wedding, don’t worry, it will be here before you know it! I love this time of year, partly because I adore spring nuptials but mainly because of the new wedding dress collections. I got married last year and so I know how stressful finding your dream dress can be. I’m short, curvy and very self-conscious, so I was dreading trying on gowns. I had no idea of what style I wanted, a fishtail made me feel like I couldn’t sit down without bursting out of it and a ballgown swamped me, but luckily my bridal consultant suggested an A-line silhouette, which suited my figure. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount of choice available, make sure you listen to your consultant. They have years of experience and have helped brides of every shape and size find their dream gown, so they will know what looks good on you even if you don’t yourself.
Lastly, don’t panic if you don’t have that overwhelming this is the one feeling, as I didn’t myself, just trust your gut and go for something that makes you feel beautiful, comfortable and confident. The Spread Eagle
