It's not unusual for brides-to-be to feel stuck in a rut when it comes to their wedding make-up. Knowing you're going to be the star of the show creates a level of pressure that you've likely never experienced before, so I understand how important it is for you to look amazing. To help you, I've put together some of my top tips.
Your wedding isn't the time to completely change your look, so use your existing style as a starting point.
Make small adjustments to your eyes, as this will make a massive difference to your overall look. Opt for a nude hue that will complement most themes and colour schemes. If you're after something a bit more dramatic, then try experimenting with thick eyeliner, darker tones and mascara.
Try a wide selection of lipsticks and glosses in different shades until you find one that suits your skin tone. I always choose a hue close to the bride's natural lip colour to create a classic and timeless look.
Add a small amount of bronzer to your cheekbones to make them stand out. Experiment with this, and remember that less is more!
If you fancy incorporating blusher into your look, then search for one that complements the shade of your lips. Place it on the apple of your cheeks and apply it upwards towards the tops of your ears.
