Leanne Cawtherley from The Sweetest Thing Cakery, based in Lancashire, has teamed up with some of the region's finest suppliers to create this beautiful set of images.

“I decided to go with a country theme for the shoot, and the first venue that came to mind was the Best Western Higher Trapp Country House Hotel in Burnley,” says Leanne. “I then began looking for a photographer. I approached Karen from 5 Little Boys Photography, as I've followed her work for a while and have always admired the cool, relaxed and effortless pictures she takes. She was more than happy to be involved, and she did an amazing job.”

The dress was provided by the award-winning Bridal Lounge of Accrington. “We opted for a stunning lace and silk Maggie Sottero gown,” shares Leanne. “Lisa was great. She helped us pick a light and feminine style that complemented our outdoor theme perfectly.”

The hair and make-up was done by Nikki Webb. “She's extremely talented and created an effortlessly relaxed look that made the model's natural beauty shine through,” shares Leanne. “The flowers were created by Milly Davey Flowers in Manchester. Heavy foliage is her speciality, and she made a lovely arch with wild meadow pew ends that looked gorgeous.”

Simply Bows & Chair Covers in Lancashire styled the venue. The company provided chiavari chairs, bespoke pagoda drapes, chair décor and table runners.

Leanne added: “Let Love Sparkle Designs created the stationery for the shoot. She made copper hand-painted accents that complemented the subtle watercolour background perfectly. The Little Card Shop created perspex signs. Danielle made a design that tied in with the flowers, and we also worked together to create a cake stand, which looked wonderful.”

The Ice Dream Experience provided ice cream throughout the shoot, and the fabulous balloons were provided by Balloonsmith. ♥
