The Brown Sugar restaurant in Windermere has recently undergone a complete refurbishment. Built in 1877, Brown Sugar started life as an independent chemist before being bought by the current owner Ian Button. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing mini-moon or wedding reception.

Ian said: “It's taken a gruelling eight months to achieve our vision, but we have accomplished something very special. We had to peel back the layers of this beautiful building to restore it to its former glory.”
