Local make-up artist, Rowena Valentine reveals how you can incorporate the festive season into your big-day look.
"At the moment, iridescent is oh-so popular. There are so many incredible products on the market, and if you want that fairytale look, then go for highlighters, strobing creams, pearl glosses and eyeshadows.
"Preparation is key. It's important you find the perfect skincare routine before applying any products.
"Use a good moisturiser and primer and leave your skin to rest for five minutes before applying any foundation. This gives it time to soak into your skin before applying the rest of your make-up.
"My go-to products are Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base, Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer and MAC's Prep + Prime Skin.
"Greys, silvers, blues and purples can create a frosty look on your eyes. People get scared of colour, but if you choose the right tones and mix them correctly, the final result can look incredible.
"Your wedding day isn't the time to start experimenting. You want to look like yourself and feel comfortable, so don't stray too far from your original style."
