Holbeck Ghyll is a 19th-century hunting lodge built by Lord Lonsdale. It was transformed into a hotel in 1973 and has a stunning exterior, with large bay windows and an ivy covered façade. It boasts plenty of places to take photographs, with far reaching views of the mountains, lake and breathtaking fells.
Couples can get married in the hotel's main restaurant, the Oak Room, a beautifully decorated space with a large replace and oak-panelled walls. It's capable of seating 45 friends and family for the vows but can be opened up to accommodate 64 guests.
Alternatively, the Segrave Room is available. This purpose-built space has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Cumbrian fells and can hold 32 loved ones for the ceremony.
The Lonsdale Room can also be used. Set in the original part of the hotel, it has space for 20 nearest and dearest for the vows.
The Drawing Room, decorated with neutral colours throughout, is ideal for more intimate nuptials, with space for eight guests throughout the day.
Lovebirds will also receive a complimentary menu tasting and personalised menu created by the venue's head chef.
