Lauren and Jack had a festive wedding at the magical Mitton Hall

We adore Lauren and Jack's real wedding on page 38 of the current issue!

Lauren and Jack met when he purchased tickets to a charity event she was organising. “We got chatting and discovered we had loads of mutual friends,” says Lauren. “He came to the event, and I remember thinking he looked gorgeous. We really hit it off.”

Jack popped the question on Christmas Eve in 2016. “It's always been my favourite day of the year,” explains the bride. “We had been to a restaurant for dinner and planned to go to our local pub for drinks afterwards. Jack took a detour to our house, under the pretence that he was going to quickly grab something. He filled our bedroom with roses and candles and prepared a bottle of champagne before asking me to come inside. He then got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was the perfect proposal, and we celebrated with our friends and family afterwards.”
