Erica and Thomas had a travel-inspired wedding at the grand Netherwood Hotel & Spa

We adore Erica and Thomas' real wedding on page 45 of the current issue!

Erica and Thomas, better known to his friends as Chris, met during a night out in Lancaster. “I'm from Wisconsin in the U.S.,” explains Erica. “I was studying abroad for a semester when my friends and I decided to see what the city had to offer. We were in a bar when I spotted Chris across the room. I walked straight up to him, and we started talking. He showed us his favourite places to visit, and we had an amazing night.”

After two years of dating, Thomas popped the question during a hike up Farleton Knott. “We reached the top, and I asked another couple to take our picture,” says Erica. “As we were posing, Chris got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! That morning, I had put on my outfit, and I looked in the mirror and said 'wow! I look like such a dork.' He then replied, 'are you sure that's what you want to wear when you get proposed to?' I laughed, thinking he was joking. Alas, the dorky out t is now forever documented.”
