"Go for a strong lip colour. Red is my favourite and it's super classy.

"To ensure your make-up stays put throughout the day, choose a primer that complements your complexion.

"Use a black liner above your lashes to really open up your eyes.

"Try different lip textures, such as velvet, matte and gloss, until you find one that suits you. Take your time and enjoy experimenting!

"Create a skincare routine in the months leading up to your nuptials and stick to it.

"If you're going to have individual lashes applied, book a trial beforehand to make sure you're comfortable wearing them.

"Marilyn Monroe used five different shades of lipstick at once to perfect her pout. Take your time and don't settle for anything you're not completely happy with.

"A blue-toned red will flatter your smile and give the illusion of brighter and whiter teeth.

"If you want a softer look, use a bronze shimmer on your eyelids.

"Always line your lips before applying any products. This will hold the hue and prevent it smudging."
