Tweedies Bar and Lodge in the Lake District is planning on hosting 15 weddings in one day, to mark its 15th birthday.
The Grasmere hotel has been under the ownership of the Robert's family for 15 years and to celebrate, it's unveiled plans for what could be the largest ever Lake District bridal extravaganza.
The search is now officially on to find 15 couples who would like to get married in Grasmere this autumn - with one couple winning their big day.
The Lodge Hotel manager, Laura Goodall, said: “2019 is a huge year for Tweedies Bar & Lodge and we wanted to do something extraordinary to celebrate. A lot of the couples who head here to get married want something a little bit different and non-traditional, or simply can't afford to invest in a lavish wedding. So, for one special day in October, we will be bringing together 15 couples for their own private ceremonies followed by a unique joint celebration.
“The last thing we want is a conveyor belt of weddings. Instead, it's all about offering something fun and quirky which breaks away from the conventional idea of what it means to get married in the Lakes.”
Couples interested in taking part in the wedding extravaganza on Saturday 19th October, 2019 should register their interest on Tweedies' website by Friday 3rd May, 2019.
