Brimstone Hotel in the Lake District is offering an active Valentine break for guests, with complimentary outdoor kit hire, detailed walking routes, Brimstone Spa access and 24/7 snacks and drinks included.

The luxurious hotel, nestled on the Langdale Estate in the Langdale Valley provides an indulgent romantic retreat with 16 vast suites boasting wood burning stoves, private terraces, ‘surprise’ bathing experience and ‘sexy’ lighting settings.

Guests can turn up in their city clothes and get fully kitted out at Brimstone’s Epicentre Boot Room with everything from walking boots to waterproofs, before hitting the surrounding fells – Brimstone has a range of Wainwright Walks right from the door or within just a 10-minute drive including Loughrigg Fell, Silver How, Lingmoor Fell, Pike of Blisco, Crinkle Crags, Bowfell, Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark and guests can explore these with provided OS walking maps.

On their return guests can soothe aching limbs in Brimstone Spa which offers seven thermal experience and multiple relaxation areas, before heading to Brimstone’s Reading Room which is fully stocked day and night with an array of complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, cakes, scones with jam and freshly whipped cream, plus cheese and biscuits.

A suite at Brimstone costs from £367.50 per night including breakfast, outdoor kit hire, spa access and Reading Room treats.
