Set within the Lake District National Park, the Cumbria Grand Hotel is a dreamy base to go and explore one of the most picturesque parts of England. Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands and overlooking Morecambe Bay, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome at this charming AA three-star Victorian hotel.

There are two dining options to choose from: the Hazelwood Restaurant and the relaxing Jacobean Bar, both with stunning views out to the gardens and Morecambe Bay estuary.

Celebrate in style
The venue’s ballroom has recently been refurbished and restored to its original splendour. With one of the biggest stages in the Lake District and a Victorian backdrop, the ballroom is ideal for your first dance. Enjoy exclusive use of the lower ground area of the hotel – perfect for couples seeking space and privacy to enjoy their day with their loved ones. This area has a private bar, a separate grand staircase entrance, toilets and a private entrance to the decking area and gardens.

Alternatively, the well-kept gardens provide a beautiful setting for your wedding photos, with manicured lawns, 20 acres of peaceful woodlands and peacocks freely roaming the grounds. Wedding guests have been known to use the gardens as a pleasant place to socialise just before or after the service.

We love...
Cumbria Grand Hotel has a flexible approach to wedding planning and can customise menus to suit your taste and budget with a choice of two or three options per course.
