Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, the newly designed interiors at The Ro Hotel take inspiration from the lakes and surrounding countryside, with cool blues and turquoises complemented with accents of oranges, natural stone and traditional grey slate. Situated in the heart of Bowness, the venue’s stately façade creates a welcoming atmosphere, combining the grandeur of a bygone age with all the conveniences of the modern day.

Celebrate in style
The Ro has four newly designed spaces available for weddings. The Sun Lounge is a light and airy sunroom that makes the most of its period features, with a large window showcasing views of Windermere and space for 18 seated guests. Alternatively, the Boardroom can accommodate 16 people.

Boasting gorgeous views, The Ballroom is a large space with elegant high ceilings, a stage, a bar, and room for 90 of your loved ones.

The Ashville has high ceilings and its own bar, with a space big enough to accommodate 120 of your friends and family.

We love...
The venue offers a complimentary suite on the night of the wedding and an anniversary stay with dinner. The Ro has also launched its ‘Evening Guests Go Free’ offer for couples who book their wedding at The Ro in 2023.
