Located on a private estate, Castletown Woodland Weddings is nestled between the Lake District and Gretna in the heart of a secluded woodland. The on-site tipis are decorated with festoon lights, flowers and beautiful wooden carvings, bringing the beauty of nature indoors. What’s more there’s a wooden dancefloor where guests can dance the night away, a chill-out zone and a fully-licenced bar made from reclaimed wood.

The private grounds are available for wedding parties and make the perfect photo opportunity. From the historical Castletown House and the Solway River views, to the orchard, greenhouse, fountain and vast gardens, there are plenty of places for guests to explore.

Celebrate in style
Hidden in a secluded woodland area is the historic dovecote. Licensed for official wedding ceremonies as well as blessings and humanist ceremonies, it has a maximum capacity of 100 guests.

The tipis and outdoor woodland area can accommodate 200 friends and family for the evening reception.
