Originally owned by Beatrix Potter, Lindeth Howe Hotel is a traditional country house situated in six acres of stunning countryside. The owners have invested £1million and combined the original décor with modern amenities to create a grand venue that’s perfect for weddings. The property has a private drive, free parking for guests, outdoor seating and space for a grand fireworks display.

Celebrate in style
The largest space available is the Restaurant which can hold 120 people. Couples can walk down the red carpet and admire the beautiful magnolia tree that’s visible through the windows.

Boasting a large apex roof, the Hilltop Room has art on the walls, large hanging plants and room for 40 guests for the service.

The Morning Room is where Mrs Potter used to sit and wait for her daughter, Beatrix, to arrive for tea.

The last space available is the Sitting Room. Boasting garden views, a fireplace from the original house and a bay window where Beatrix used to sketch, it’s capable of holding 16 friends and family for the vows.

Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.
