Q – Tell us about your company.
Hi, we’re Lauren & Daniel, a husband and wife filmmaking team based in Lancashire. We’ve been making cinematic and emotive wedding films since 2008 and feel like we have the best job in the world! We’ve been lucky enough to have been featured in several top publications, worked with high end and celebrity clients and won a load of wedding filmmaking awards, including First Place in the WPPI Wedding Short Film category for our highlights films. This is a global competition and to come in at first place is a massive achievement (we got a trophy and everything!)

Q – What packages/services do you offer couples?
To keep things simple, we don’t offer packages. We offer an ‘Essential Service’ which for 95 per cent of our couples is everything they require. It comprises of two award-winning wedding videographers all day from prep to dancing, fully licensed drone videography, a 15-25 mins feature film and shorter 3-5 minutes highlight too, plus the ceremony and speeches edit in full. This is all delivered on a MiM USB stick in a special gift box and available privately online. In addition, we offer several enhancements should they require them.

Q – What should couples expect when booking your services?
Our couples should expect the best service possible and for us to go above their expectations from the first email to the final finished film and even beyond. We pride ourselves on capturing those tiny details that others may miss as well as all the best moments of their day. We do all this in a discreet manner using small cameras and hidden microphones, we don’t like being seen on the day!
Lauren always puts herself in the bride's shoes (not literally) and thinks of what she would like to see on her day.

Q – What's your favourite wedding you've worked on and why?
This is one of the most difficult questions we get asked because every wedding is unique and special to us. Some memorable moments are:
- Daniel going in a helicopter with the bride and groom.
- Crazy wedding breakfasts where they just danced and sang instead of having food and speeches!
- Filming on a speedboat trying to hold on for dear life whilst capturing the bride and groom on another boat!
- Hiking up the top of a mountain to get the perfect shot.
- Filming out of the back of a van to capture the couple in a car behind us! The list goes on and on!
We have filmed at some of the most amazing weddings all over the world from luxury palaces in Greece to low key tipi weddings in the Lakes, and we can honestly say it doesn't matter what the suppliers or locations are like it’s all about the bride and groom along with their guests that make the day.

Q – How long before the wedding should couples get in touch?
We always say book as soon as possible! A lot of couples leave videography until the last moment, but it should be as important as photography. We are almost full for next year, and 2023 is looking to be a busy one, so don’t wait to book any favourite supplier. All of our past couples would agree that having your wedding captured on film is just priceless.

Q – What's your favourite part of the job?
We absolutely love working together, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Also, the feedback we get after the film has been watched by our couples is so amazing to hear.

Q – Do you have any top tips for couples looking for a videographer?
Ask your venue, friends and photographer for recommendations and remember you do get what you pay for, so don’t let the price be the main influence for your choice.
Once you’ve found a videography website you like, have a good look at their sample videos and ask yourself:
- How do their films make you feel?
- How is the audio, and is the speaking nice and clear?
- Which clips have been filmed?
- Is it edited to a style you like, and would you be happy after your day is long gone with the result?
