We met in August 2015,” says Emily. “We were set up by my best woman, Amy, and had our first date at the Deaf Institute and Gorilla in Manchester, where we talked about our love of podcasts and books.”
Tom proposed to Emily during a holiday to Crete in April 2018. “He had intended to propose over a romantic breakfast on the balcony of our Airbnb, but sadly noisy construction work derailed his plan,” shares the bride. “Tom ended up proposing in the living room of the apartment before we went on a wine tasting, but the square box poking out of his pocket had given away what was about to happen!”
