Lake District Country Hotels has put together a series of virtual wedding guides to help couples continue their wedding day preparations despite the latest lockdown. The three sites in Cumbria – Cragwood Country House Hotel, Merewood Country House Hotel and Briery Wood Country House Hotel are all available for weddings and mini-moons.

Joe Cobb, the executive commercial manager said: “Choosing a wedding venue is such an important decision, and we know that now, more so than ever, people want something to look forward to. That’s why we have created the virtual show arounds of our hotels and have kept our wedding teams working through lockdown so that we can help answer the all-important questions and allow our prospective bride and grooms the excitement to begin now, instead of waiting for Government restrictions to be lifted.”

In each of the video tours, the hotel managers and wedding coordinators provide a walkthrough of the hotel facilities, from grand entrance halls and function rooms, through to wedding suites and the hotel grounds, which offer views over some of the Cumbria’s most stunning backdrops.
