We interview Michael Worsley from B Spoke By Spike to find out more about his transport company.

Q – Tell us about your company.
After spending 30 years working for Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service and facing retirement, it was time to look for a new venture. I've always had a passion for the great outdoors and for many years felt the beauty of the Western Lakes and Coastline were understated in comparison with other local areas. I often thought as locals we should be encouraging more people to enjoy what is on offer. The idea behind the business is to combine my passion for vehicles with my love of the Lake District. Ideal for a boho or rustic-themed wedding, our range of vehicles tie in well with a laid-back theme and can be decorated with local flowers and foliage.
I wanted to combine my interests along with my extensive knowledge of the area and provide a bespoke V.I.P. experience for you to enjoy. As a requirement to operate, I'm personally licensed by the Local Authority (Copeland) having undergone medical checks and D.B.S. clearance. Additionally, I'm First Aid Qualified and have many years of driving experience. The vehicles are very well maintained and undergo regular inspections by the Local authority. Vehicles are equipped with Fire extinguishers and First Aid Kits.

Q – What services do you offer?
We provide tours of the local area so couples and their photographer can take some amazing photographs. Here at B Spoke By Spike, we know the local area very well and will act as a tour guide taking you to the very best places. We're very flexible and can provide the service for as long as you need it. Whether you're looking for some quiet time together as newlyweds or want to spend the day exploring the Lake District, we're more than happy to accommodate. We will work around your schedule and are happy to take on board your ideas. 
Our service is ideal for couples looking to elope. After the ceremony, we can take you on a tour and show you and your photographer the best places to take pictures.
We have a range of vehicles, including a Volkswagen Campervan, Landrover Station Wagon, which is ideal for touring the Lake District, or if you're looking for something more quirky, we also have a fully-restored tractor.

Q – What should couples expect when getting in touch?
Couples will receive a personal and friendly service. We're committed to providing a first class service and are meticulous at planning!

Once the venue is booked, get in touch asap. We offer a range of services, so get in touch to find out if we can accommodate your needs.

Q – What's your favourite part of the job?
I love every part of the job. The whole idea behind B Spoke By Spike was to create a fun business where I get to meet lots of new and interesting people. It's extremely rewarding when we provide a quality service and the clients shows their appreciation!

Q – Do you have any top tips for couples?
Do lots of research. There are so many companies out there, so many sure you look into your options and compare different services before booking.
