Salford Lads Club is now licensed to hold weddings
Credit: www.mickcooksonphotography.co.ukSalford Lads Club, which first opened in 1903, is now registered and licensed to hold weddings, civil partnerships and vow renewals. Weddings can be tailored to meet your requirements with organisers working with local suppliers to create the perfect day. Brides and grooms can select one of four quirky rooms that can accommodate between 20 and 150 guests. Profits from nuptials are split between the official Salford Lads and Girls’ Club Charity which focuses on the ongoing upkeep of the building and investment into leisure facilities for the local community.
Sue Bainbridge, the wedding and events manager, said: “We’re delighted to bring this historic venue into the wedding fold. It’s one of the city’s most iconic and unusual venues, steeped in heritage, local history and music folklore. With the COVID-19 restrictions in place, the smaller spaces are ideal for up to 15 people.”
So when you decide to look for local suppliers, wedding retailers and service providers for your special day, our magazines can really help you plan your wedding.
