Hollie and Malcolmolm met at Staffordshire University, and after years of friendship, they decided to start dating. “Our similar interests and values brought us together as we both have creative minds and a love of music,” shares Hollie. “We lived at opposite ends of the country, which made our first few months as a couple quite hard, but we met up as often as possible. Eventually, Malcolm found a job up North, and we moved in together in 2018.”
Malcolmolm popped the question during a trip to Wales. “Our birthdays are one day apart, so we went on a special holiday to celebrate,” shares the bride. “On the evening of my 30th birthday, Malcolm got down on one knee, read a very sentimental poem and asked me to marry him.”
