Q – We’re having a red colour scheme, and I’d love to incorporate the hue into my hair and make-up without overdoing it. Do you have any suggestions?
"Depending on the time of year you’re getting married, red can be a beautiful, vibrant option. For autumnal vibes, deep, bold versions can be used throughout your make-up but look particularly incredible on lips with a simple eye. Alternatively, if you’re having a winter celebration, pair a bright scarlet lip with a little bit of sparkle on the eyes.
"This colour works best with gold, champagne and neutral shades. For the hue to flow throughout your wedding, my top tip is to take note of the undertone of your items, be it flowers, bridesmaids’ dresses or venue dressing. The undertone is crucial and can be cool with a blue undertone or warm with an orange undertone.
"Bring a red item that you love to your trial to help guide your artist. If a strong lip or warm smoky eyes isn’t for you, then think about hair accessories. You can add fresh flowers to your locks or go modern with a bridal headband.
"Be brave, experiment with different looks at your trial and try to imagine how everything will look once it comes together."
