Kendal-based hair and beauty salon, Daniel Gray Hair & Beauty is saying thank you to NHS staff by offering them free treatments. The award-winning salon offers a range of treatments including tinting, waxing, nail and eyebrow therapies, all of which will be available to NHS workers when the salon is able to open.

Nicola Tomlinson, the owner and director, said: “On the Sunday following the end of lockdown, the business will host NHS workers for free hair and beauty treatments. We all appreciate the tremendous and on-going efforts of doctors and nurses at this time and want to make them feel special once we all come out the other side of this crisis. I have a sister-in-law, two nieces and cousins all working in the NHS and recognise the sacrifices that they are making. With this so close to home, I wanted to do something for them. Everyone will know of somebody affected by Coronavirus, so it’s vital we pull together at this time and demonstrate support in whatever way we can.”
