Tweedies Bar & Lodge is a rustic wedding venue in Grasmere. Nestled amongst some of the most famous Lake District fells, guests can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, perfect for photographs. The on-site bedrooms feature individual Harris Tweed, bespoke cushions and soft furnishings to create a modern yet cosy space.

Celebrate in style
There are three areas licensed for ceremonies. The Lodge has recently been refurbished, it featured tweed made by local Herdwick sheep farmer, Charlotte Harnby, and is capable of holding 70 guests for the vows and sit down meal.

Alternatively, the Lounge can be used. The space can hold up to 25 loved ones for the service.

Couples looking for al fresco celebrations can tie the knot in the garden or a marquee can be erected for larger nuptials.

The property is within walking distance of St Oswald’s Church for those preferring a traditional church ceremony.

The grounds play host to the Lake District’s largest beer and music festival. The venue also has a great reputation for both food and drink, and the staff are great at organising large-scale events.
