Lindeth Howe Hotel was originally owned by Beatrix Potter and still retains much of its original charm. The owners have invested £1million and combined the original décor with modern amenities to create the perfect setting for weddings. This traditional country house has a private drive, free parking, seating and space for a firework display. Situated within six acres of stunning gardens, there are plenty of places for guests to explore and take photographs.

The vows
Morning Room. Perfect for intimate weddings, this space is where Mrs Potter used to sit while waiting for daughter, Beatrix, to arrive for tea.
Hilltop Room. This space was finished in May 2017 and boasts a large apex roof that lets in an abundance of light, book art on the walls, large hanging plants, with space for 40 guests for the service.
Restaurant. Couples can walk down the red carpet and admire the three windows that overlook an amazing magnolia tree, with up to 120 nearest and dearest.
Gazebo. Ideal for al fresco celebrations, this charming area is perfect for summer weddings.
Sitting Room. Boasting garden views, a fireplace from the original house and a bay window where Beatrix used to sketch, it’s capable of holding 16 loved ones for the ceremony.
