My name is David

I am an independent Celebrant based in Manchester working across the Northwest of England. I am a fully qualified and trained Celebrant. I take great pride in telling people I trained with the UK Celebrant and Professional Skills Academy in the process gaining my Celebrant and Public Speaking Diploma, verified by the Scottish Qualifications Authority. Something I am very proud of.

I write my own unique scripts for Weddings, Funerals and Naming Ceremonies. I specialise in telling your life story in a way that you choose. Whether that be religious, humanist, non-religious or something personal to you. I design and print all my own work and work closely with families to ensure they get the very best personal experience. I am also a professional photographer with a specialism in wedding photography. Ceremonies are my passion and I take great pride in delivering a unique, professional service.

Ceremonies and rituals are such an important part of our life and can mark the passing, joining or the closure of significant aspects of our lives. You choose how you wish to celebrate a life event and I will put together a script which is meaningful to you, beautiful in design and shows I have listened to what we have discussed.

I am a full-time photographer and celebrant. Yes, I do understand the importance of your day on both sides of the camera.

You will only deal with me in planning your photography. Couples find me easy to speak with and approachable, which is a good starting point when dealing with such an important event as your wedding.

I offer a free consultation to discuss your needs and will only charge you for what you want. I feel it is important to take the time to ask and find out what you need and to quote you based on our conversation.

You are paying for someone to capture your day, capture memories and also to capture those moments you may not have seen. I have a good eye for detail and will always ensure you get value for money. I know people don't like talking about money when it comes to our life events, but let's face it, it is something we all think about.

Weddings are not a hobby or something I do at the weekends to make extra cash. This is my full-time work and therefore I can work in the week or weekends. I am professional and capable of dealing with most situations, I never say all, as that is too much of a risk to tempt, so I am happy to take on short notice events. I will always plan in as much detail as possible.

The prices I offer are for a professional service and a price I feel is fair to any couple. By booking me, you are booking my time, skill, planning, equipment, production/editing and most importantly an excellent experience.

I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants, Society of Photographers and DBS checked.
