Lucy Cherry, 30, married Kash Quraishy, 30, at Victoria Warehouse on the 25th March, 2017.
Here, Lucy shares some of her favourite moments from their big day...
I must have tried on at least 40 different dresses. I ended up buying a strapless lace gown from Mirror Mirror. My seamstress then made an off-theshoulder bolero with lace sleeves attached to the top. All of the staff were amazing, I initially wanted a big ball gown but they helped me try things that were out of my comfort zone.
Kash wore a black velvet dinner jacket, dress trousers and a white shirt with onyx dress studs. His best man Edward wore the same, deciding on their outfits was a very quick and painless process.
After we got engaged we had our religious ceremony in a country manor in London. We knew we wanted our wedding venue to be very different so we looked for something more unusual. As soon as we walked into the Victoria Warehouse on an open day we knew it was perfect.
I had my sister and best friend as my bridesmaids. Their dresses were one-shouldered deep purple evening gowns with beading. They were happy to try on different styles, which made it easy finding something they both liked. I saw the dresses and ordered them, the only difficulty was getting both girls to try them on as they live in different counties.
We had white, cream and green foliage for our flowers. Our florist Qube Events & Productions did a brilliant job, we had gypsophila on the tables with lots of candles and my bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses.
I had Penny from Jodie A Smith do my hair, I had a trial with her and was really happy with the way she styled it. We tried quite a few hairstyles and I couldn't decide whether to have it up or down. In the end I chose to have an up do so it would look full and I wouldn't have to worry about it being in my face, I accessorised it with some flowers from my bouquet.
I had a few make-up trials and each time it looked good but I didn't feel like myself. In the end I decided to do my own so that I'd look exactly how I had imagined. I made sure it looked natural and very polished, I defined my eyes more than I usually do and used a beautiful highlighter.
We chose a cake from Marks and Spencer, it looked lovely and had a different flavour in each layer, it was delicious and me and Kash spent days eating the leftovers.
We made our own playlist for the evening reception. On our invitations we asked all of our guests to rsvp with the name of their favourite song, we then added all of these to a playlist so that everyone would enjoy the music.
We chose our photographer Gemma after another photographer recommended her, and we're so glad we did! Her photos were beautiful and we loved the natural look she captured. She replied to our enquiry immediately and we met a few weeks later to discuss her work. She was so lovely and really put us at ease and on the day she was fantastic, she even helped my mum when some of her make-up smudged.
We decorated the reception room with floating candles hanging above each table, we wanted the whole venue to be lit by candle light and it looked really beautiful.
