Situated in the heart of Central Manchester is the beautiful historic Portico Library, a stunning backdrop for your wedding celebration.
Surround yourself with literature as you hold your wedding ceremony with up to 30 guests in our historic Member’s Reading Room. Follow this with a celebratory drink’s reception in the famous gallery beneath our stunning dome. Canapes can be arranged if required and you can have your cake cutting ceremony under the dome!
If you have between 30 – 50 guest your ceremony will take place under the spectacular dome but you still have access to the Reading Room for beautiful photographs. . The pictures surrounded by the books evoke memories of a by gone era.
The whole Library will be closed for your event so you can enjoy this venue privately with your friends and family.
