When my wedding photographer asked me what moments I’d love to capture on our big day, I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed. There’s so much about weddings that I adore that it’s hard to break down and put into a list. To help, I took inspiration from all the lovely real weddings I’ve seen over the years and my favourite moments, such as the vows and seeing your partner for the first time. After such a strange year for all of us, it’s nice to finally think about something positive and talk to wonderful suppliers who, like us, are happy that nuptials are getting back to normal. I’m so excited for the flurry of weddings and to see your pictures and share the happy moments with you all.
To celebrate, we’ve put together a showstopping issue that’s full of inspiration. We have four real weddings, five styled shoots, the latest cake trends and a must-see music and entertainment guide. What’s more, our fashion section is full of fabulous boho and Hollywood-inspired dresses.

New House Farm
New House Farm is a Grade II listed property that dates back to 1650. Boasting breathtaking views of the Lakeland Fells, the venue has a contemporary décor throughout and on-site bedrooms with luxurious fireplaces, roll-top baths and four-poster beds.
Couples can get married in the newly created Cart Shed, which boasts stunning views down the garden towards the Buttermere Fells, and party the night away in The Hayloft. This beautiful space has a bar, a kitchen, five en suite bedrooms and is capable of holding 130 friends and family throughout the day.

To plan the perfect wedding, you need to ensure you have a budget in mind, as this will alter the number of choices available to you. Start by getting your guest numbers set in stone, so you know how much money you will have left for decorations and activities. I strongly advise hiring a wedding planner as they can find the most suitable venues and stylists for you so that you don't feel so overwhelmed.

| How to winter proof your nails and cuticles |

The winter season is especially harsh on the nails so it's vital to take extra care of them. Carla Opoku, founder of Cienna Rose (ciennarose.com) says "Cold weather zaps moisture from the cuticles and nails leaving them dry, brittle, flaky and damaged. Our nails naturally have a low moisture and oil content and therefore, can become worse in winter but there are things we can do to help keep them looking and feeling on point."
