Welcome to the first issue of 2021! I don’t know about you, but after a pretty miserable 2020, I can’t wait to see what this year holds. There are so many wedding shows, real weddings and wonderful events that are set to take place soon and I cannot wait! Our February/March issue has always been one of my favourites, with Valentine’s Day just been, many of you will have received a gorgeous ring – congratulations! Whether you’re planning a small celebration or a grand affair, we have heaps of inspiration to help you plan the wedding of your dreams. Netherwood Hotel & Spa
Netherwood Hotel & Spa is a Grade II listed manor house with landscaped gardens and sweeping views across Morecambe Bay. The hotel is located within landscaped gardens that feature a beautiful topiary, water features and woodlands at the back of the hotel that lead into a National Trust walk. Netherwood is filled with traditional features that are a photographer’s dream such as the twinkling chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows, ornate carvings and winding staircases.
The Deakin Suite is a bright and airy room with polished marble floors and breathtaking views across the grounds. It’s capable of holding 200 friends and family for the ceremony and reception.
Alternatively, The Ballroom and Terrace Bar Lounge can be used to hold 180 guests. This magnificent oak-panelled room has an adjoining bar lounge and an original stone fireplace that dates back to 1893.
The Residents Lounge is a cosy room with oak-panelled walls, an original fireplace and room for 30 loved ones throughout the day.
Small celebrations can take place in The Library, a grand room with period charm and character, and space for up to 20 nearest and dearest.

PC Roadshows, an entertainment specialist in Lancashire, has developed a live streaming service available for weddings, so everyone can feel part of your special day. The company have been investing in technology for the past few years and have launched animated monograms, projection mapping, animated wedding decorations and a robot photo booth. What's more, PC Roadshows has teamed up with local cake supplier, Thoroughly-Good Cakes to offer animated wedding cakes. This effect is added to the side of the cake to create a mesmerising light show.
