My partner and I are in the process of house-hunting. Wherever we end up will be my first property, and I already can’t wait to finally move in and begin decorating! Our first anniversary is also approaching, and finding the perfect gift is proving to be a struggle. We’re not big fans of over-the-top gestures, but I want to mark this milestone with a big celebration. How do you celebrate special occasions? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

King Street Townhouse
The King Street Townhouse is an impressive Italian Renaissance building in Manchester. The contemporarily styled hotel boasts furniture sourced from around the world, including monochrome tiling and commissioned artwork. The venue has 40 bedrooms to choose from, an on-site bar, a restaurant, a rooftop spa that overlooks Manchester Town Hall, an infinity pool, steam room and a relaxation area. There are also two treatment spaces on the third level, ideal for pre- and post-wedding pampering.
Ceremonies can take place in the rooftop extension, which can hold 100 guests for the vows and 150 for the reception.
Alternatively, The Small and Large Hubs are available. These modern rooms can be combined to house 80 loved ones throughout the day.
Lovebirds will receive a dedicated wedding coordinator and reduced rates on accommodation.
