Appleby castle
Appleby Castle is a grand venue nestled deep in the Eden Valley. The castle has a rich history with parts of the site dating back to the 12th-century. It has been left standing through civil wars and has hosted a wealth of notable people.
There’s a choice of spaces in which to tie the knot, depending on the size of your guest list. The Great Hall is a beautiful oak-panelled room with high ceilings that can hold 100 guests. Alternatively you can get married in the Garden Rotunda, ideal for larger celebrations, it can hold 250 of your loved ones. For more intimate celebrations the Old Chapel, Dining Room and Bee House are available with capacities of 15 to 30 of your nearest and dearest.
