Haigh Hall Hotel & Spa
Situated in more than 250 acres of gorgeous parkland is Haigh Hall Hotel one of Greater Manchester’s most historic venues. The Grade II listed building boasts stunning views of the Douglas Valley and has 30 luxurious bedrooms and a spa, ideal for pre- and post-wedding pampering. Built in 1849 it was used as a military hospital during World War I and II and has since been transformed to create a contemporary space perfect for weddings.
It has four areas licensed for civil ceremonies, the ground floor Ballroom is a beautiful space that can accommodate 240 guests throughout the day and 300 for the evening reception. Alternatively, you can get married in the first-floor Ballroom, it has a beautiful staircase, adjacent bar and magnificent ceiling décor, with room for 140 of your nearest and dearest for the ceremony and 250 for the post-vows celebration. The Roof Terrace is ideal for intimate nuptials, it boasts breathtaking views of the countryside and can hold 30 loved ones for the ceremony and 50 for the reception. The Outdoor Pagoda is perfect for al fresco celebrations with a maximum capacity of 140 friends and family throughout the day and 250 for the evening party.
